What the retreat is about and who it’s for:

This is a retreat for sober women who want to spend time with others to relax, connect, learn and grow together, and have some fun. It is a time to realign your soul, a time to experience the joy and freedom from the things that can hold us down. It is a time to nurture yourself, and have space to explore and grow, with others who have questioned their relationship with alcohol.

 

There will be a daily yoga session with Sober Yoga Girl Alex McRobs, daily sharing circles with the other women in the group, massage, reiki, sound bath, water healing ceremony, breathwork session, walks to wonderful waterfalls and beach days around the beautiful island, and time to relax in tune with what your body demands and deserves.

Your 7 - Night 'Discovery in Recovery' Retreat Includes:​

About Carolyn Clark:

​

Your host Carolyn has worked for 30 years in the Criminal Justice system in the UK, both in a management and operational role, and has also managed a team of people working directly with victims. Alongside this, Carolyn was an experienced therapist working with people who had a problem with their alcohol use.

 

Through a variety of life challenges, and losses of significant people in her own life, she came to deeply understand that she needed to work on her own healing, to put on her own oxygen mask, and be the best version of Carolyn,for herself and others.

 

Now in her third year of sobriety, her journey of self-discovery has led her back to the work she holds a passion for, and as an accredited sobriety coach she is delighted to be doing the work

she has always been called to do.

 

Carolyn works in the sober community on a one-to-one basis with her clients, and hosts groups for people who are over 12 months sober, as well as hosting sober sharing circles for people at all stages of their journeys.

 

Carolyn has been in awe of the incredible healing power of women coming together in mutual support, compassion and understanding, and wants to share this power with others in beautiful calming surroundings, free from external pressures.

Carolyn experienced the joy of immersing herself in the culture and environment of Bali with Soul Bliss journeys last year and is thrilled to offer this retreat to help others to experience the joy of discovery in recovery.
