A Little Bit About the Venue
Jungle Sanctuary Retreat is located rural village of Melinggih, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Ubud. It sits on the sacred Giri Kusuma River, a place connected to the very foundations of Balinese life and culture.
Granted it’s legendary status by the most renowned and revered Hindu monk of Bali, Rsi Markandeya during his pilgrimage through Bali, the river and surrounding area now hold a special status amongst the Balinese as a place of positive and healing energy.
Perched on the valley’s edge overlooking the river and natural spring pools below, this unique retreat centre offers the best views of the jungle-scapes giving you the ideal retreat space to lead intimate retreats and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
Spacious and beautifully furnished the rooms come with a number of special spaces to spend your time, from your private balcony facing the rainforest to relaxing seating areas perfect for unwinding and soaking in the atmosphere.
Jungle Sanctuary Retreat provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Featuring a bar, this jungle oasis has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk. Each room is fitted with a desk, bed linen and a balcony with a garden view. All rooms are fitted with a safety deposit box and selected rooms come with pool views. Guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle.
