YOUR Desire to Change MUST be greater.........

Updated: Sep 20, 2020

For me this is how simple it is, your desire to change must be greater then staying the same!

It doesn't get more simple then that. This is why most people have to hit their own rock bottom to actually start to seriously look at changing, we wouldn't change otherwise right? Or would we?

I read a lot on social media platforms, from people saying that they want to stop drinking or using, but I sometimes think, how badly? As badly as you want a drink or use? Because trust me If not, you will stay stuck, if yes you will do the work, you would take the action.

I know for me I had to want to stop messing up my life with alcohol really badly to make me want to stop, but when I got to that point, I was willing to go to any lengths and do anything to stay sober and that is what I did, anything! My Desire to change was greater!

Are you willing to go to any lengths?

These days there is sooooo much out there on offer to help, programs, books, AA & NA, smart recovery, detox programs so much online support, that all are known to work when given 100%. I'm know different to you, this is all on offer for you too and YOU ARE WORTHY AND CAPABLE.......

I remember when I got sober 6 years ago, there was hardly any support, but it's all NOW available & ready for YOU.

So really the question above is the only one you need to ask yourself and if you answer yes, that you desire to change the way you using more then you don't, then there is a solution. Often people say that they don't want to try a certain program because they aren't sure or part of it seems weird (for example AA) But is staying stuck a better option then just giving it a go? What's the harm in trying.... I know for me, I was willing to try anything and thank god for AA. This is what worked for me in the beginning, but all paths are different and that's okay. Find your path, it is out there xx

I am grateful everyday that I'm living in the solution and have been for the last 6 years, my life in recovery means the world to me, I now get to support other women in recovery through my Sober Self Love Sober Retreats where I get to share my experience strength and hope, which is my absolute passion..

Living a sober joyous life is available to everyone, you just need to choose, really choose it and go for it, it's time to be the best version of you, we only get one chance at this life, so make it count xx

As always, this is written with so much Love, I see you, I hear you and I love you. You're a courageous warrior and I see your worth, I know you are ENOUGH and deserving of this life, now it is your turn to see it too xx
