The resort has expanded significantly and now spans four distinct buildings across a 4-acre campus: the original two architect-designed luxury villas (Villa I and Villa II), plus two newly added buildings — Pohon Jiwa, an expansive rice field-facing residence centered around a towering ancient gum tree, and Bali Hai Mansion, a restored four-story character building a 2-minute walk from the main villas. Together the campus features multiple yoga shalas, a spa area, fire pits, pools, and meditation platforms by the river.
The full campus now offers 22 unique bedroom suites and family rooms across the four buildings, with a combined capacity of up to 44 guests — making it one of the most flexible and expansive exclusive-use retreat venues in the Ubud area.

The venue is an exclusive, private-use property: when you book, you get access to all its spaces — both villas, yoga shalas, pools, fire pits, and river gorge. This means you’re not just staying in one room, you own the space.
It’s set in a quiet, authentic village; surrounded by neighbors, nature, and heritage, which gives it charm — but also means that some rooms may be impacted by earthy sounds and local activity (e.g. wildlife, river, etc.). Great for those who want peace + nature, less so if you expect sterile silence.
Local culture is woven in: the venue includes ancient carvings, ceremonies, water blessings, neighborhood healers; staff are deeply connected to local life. This means retreat leaders or guests who want authenticity will find much richness here.
Rooms
Each suite is individually styled (layouts, décor, views vary) — some have private outdoor bathtubs, others have freestanding baths, balconies or deck with views of the river or jungle. Not all rooms are identical, so choice matters.
The campus now comprises four buildings, each with its own character and room configuration:
Villa I & Villa II (Original Villas) The original two interconnected architect-designed luxury villas. Villa I has 6 bedrooms (including one family room convertible); Villa II has 5 bedrooms (including one small family room convertible). Combined capacity up to 22 guests across 17 bedding arrangements. Rooms feature glowing onyx bathrooms, cathedral ceilings, and private outdoor bathtubs.
Pohon Jiwa An expansive rice field-facing residence centered around an enormous ancient gum tree — best sunset views on the property. Enter through an antique wooden door at the base of the tree, passing through to Center House, the building's social hub with living room, dining room, kitchen, and a small gym. Breakfast is served here by the resident chef.
North House holds 6 air-conditioned bedroom suites across two floors, all with en suite bathrooms:
Gallery Suites (Upper Floor) — North Gallery, Middle Gallery, South Gallery. Tall ceilings, full glass front wall opening onto a covered balcony. Enclosed bathrooms with vintage tiles. King or Single x2 setup, max 2 guests each.
Garden Suites (Lower Floor) — North Garden, Middle Garden, South Garden. Glass front opens onto the main floor balcony with jungle and garden views. Open-air jungle bathrooms. King or Single x2 setup, max 2 guests each.
Pohon Jiwa accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms (min 6 beds, max 12 beds).
Bali Hai Mansion A restored four-story building with coconut beams and strong character, a 2-minute walk from the main villas. Its four levels each offer a distinct feel:
Main Floor — Grand entrance, large living area, kitchen, shared bathroom, and two suites: the Queen Suite and Sunset Suite. Both open onto a shared balcony with west-facing rice field views — best for sunset watching.
Upper Floor — A large yoga shala with its own kitchen and bathroom, plus the Penthouse suite tucked behind a mirrored wall.
Lower Floor (Apartment) — A private apartment with open living area, kitchen, and two bedrooms: North Terrace and South Terrace, each with their own small bathroom. Has its own private entrance directly from the road — ideal for retreat leaders or VIP guests wanting complete independence.
Rooftop — Open viewing platform with 360-degree views across the full campus, and on clear days, mountain tops and the Garuda statue at Uluwatu.
Bali Hai Mansion accommodates up to approximately 10 guests across 5 rooms/suites.
