The performance duration is approximately 1 hour.

Yes, photography and videography are allowed; but please be respectful and avoid flash during the performance.

The Open Stage is generally accessible, but pathways may involve steps or uneven ground. Please check in advance so we can assist where possible.

What time should I arrive?

Arriving around 6:30 PM, when the gates open, gives you time to find good seats and avoid last-minute rush.

What language is the performance narrated in?

The narration (or the “dalang” narration) is traditionally in Balinese and sometimes Sanskrit. The visual storytelling is strong, so even if you don’t understand all spoken parts, the performance communicates emotionally and dramatically. (The Kecak chanting is vocal, not a spoken language.)
